General Profession Changes

• You can create Draenor-quality recipes at skill level 1, so you don’t feel punished for not completely leveling up a profession.
  
• Your Garrison buildings let you craft certain recipes even if you don’t have that profession learned--including epic gear from max-level buildings. Players with the building and corresponding profession can craft more items.
  
• There are many catchup mechanisms for professions, and your Garrison buildings can provide the materials needed to craft recipes.
  
• Professions no longer have combat perks tied to them. This is so that they feel like a personal choice and less like a compulsory thing for min-maxing.
  
• You can only wear 3 Draenor crafted items at once, but you can upgrade them several times to ilvl 665.
  
• Healing potions and Healthstones now share a cooldown.
  
• Movement speed enchants increase speed by 10%, up from 8%.
  
• Garrison buildings can enhance your professions--you can have up to three buildings generating materials for different professions. Play around with your Garrison buildings and perks with our Garrison Calculator.
  
• Completing Draenor Master, obtaining 700 points in a profession, rewards the Artisan title.
  

Alchemy

• A follower assigned to the Level 2 Alchemy Lab Level 2 gives daily quests for potions.
  
• Flasks: There are two tiers of flasks covering primary stats. Draenor Flasks provide +200 to a primary stat at level 100, and Greater Draenor Flasks provide +250 to a primary stat at level 100.
  
• Potions: There are potions which boost your primary stat or armor by 1000 for 25 sec at level 100, such as  Draenic Agility Potion. Several other potions have updated versions for Draenor.
  
•  Draenic Philosopher's Stone is an updated version of  Zen Alchemist Stone. It gives you base mastery, increases the effect of healing and mana potions, and procs your highest primary stat.
  
•  Transmorphic Tincture: new fun item that reverses the imbiber's gender for a short time.

Archaeology

• New archaeology keystones for Draenor digsites:  Arakkoa Cipher,  Ogre Missive,  Draenor Clan Orator Cane
  
• New archaeology solves have been added for each new type of currency. Draenor Clans Archaeology Fragment, Ogre Archaeology Fragment, Arakkoa Archaeology Fragment
  
• Rare solves: Frostwolf Ghostpup,  Sorcerer-King Toe Ring,  Warmaul of the Warmaul Chieftain,  Beakbreaker of Terokk, Ancient Nest Guardian,  Headdress of the First Shaman
  
•  Draenor Archaeologist's Lodestone teleports you to a random active digsite in Draenor and  Draenor Archaeologist's Map randomizes digsites. These require reputation with the Arakkoa Outcasts
  
• There are several treasure chests in Spires of Arak that contain archaeology fragments and are reached via jumping puzzles.
  
• There is a higher chance for your solves to be Pristine in Warlords, and these are displayed in your Garrison town hall.
  

Blacksmithing

• A follower assigned to the Level 2 The Forge Level 2 reduces your durability damage and provides a combat guardian.
  
• There is an epic ilvl 640 set, Truesteel
  
• This armor can be upgraded to ilvl 655 and ilvl 665. The items required for upgrades are Truesteel Essence and Greater Truesteel Essence
  
• There is a special Blacksmithing pet, Soul of the Forge.
  
• There are also crafted weapons like  Steelforged Dagger which are upgraded with Steelforged Essence and Greater Steelforged Essence

Cooking

• Cooking is greatly simplified in Warlords of Draenor. You can learn "Recipe Ideas" when cooking or tasting a Draenor recipe.
  
• The amount of servings you get when cooking food increase with your skill level.
  
• These recipes are split into two tiers. The weaker food, such as Blackrock Ham, grants 50 of a stat and requires a single piece of meat/fish. The stronger food, such as Calamari Crepes, grants 75 of a stat and requires two weaker dishes as well as an herb to cook.
  
• Recipes for Feasts: Feast of the Waters, Feast of Blood. However, the best feast is not from Cooking.  Savage Feast is from your Barn Level 2 Work Orders.
  
• New Cooking-themed pets: Lil' Leftovers based on a comic by Cadistra
  

Enchanting

• New Materials:  Draenic Dust,  Luminous Shard,  Temporal Crystal
  
• Weapon enchants can be transformed to resemble other popular weapon enchants if you have a level 2 Enchanter's Study Level 2.
  
•  Enchanted Dust: makes you sparkle!
  
• All current enchants cannot be used on items higher than level 600.
  
• New enchants datamined so far: Rings, Cloaks, Necks
  
• The "Gift of" cape enchants also increase movement speed by 10%, such as Gift of Versatility.

Engineering

•  Blingtron 5000 is a savage, yet generous, robot. He gives out presents like  Blingtron 4000, but will also fight other Blingtrons to the death. He will also give out decoded messages, which need to be collected for Inspector Gadgetzan.
  
• There are new goggles, scopes, and ranged weapons.
  
• There are many new toys including a wormhole, a toy that makes you immune to Leap of Faith, goblin gliders, and a temporary hologram.
  
• New Engineering pets: Mechanical Axebeak, Lifelike Mechanical Frostboar, and Sky-Bo which matches the Sky Golem mount.
  
• Garrison Building: Engineering Works Level 3
  
•  Walter is an item you can get when a follower is assigned to your level 2 Engineering Works Level 3.
